1. School Grants provides information on grant proposal writing including links to other websites and to successful proposals. There is also a list of current grant opportunities.

2. The eSchool News website has a funding center that includes deadline based grant opportunities and ongoing grant opportunities for public schools. www.eschoolnews.org/erc/funding/

3. The Colorado Department of Education official website provides a wealth of information. Go to the State and Federal Grants tab on the left side tool bar and scroll through competitive grants to find current grant opportunities by interest area. Use this site to access information about grants received from CDE.

4. The Foundation Center site is a great place to find more information about a particular foundation and their giving patterns. Use the Foundation Finder tool.

5. This site includes a national, comprehensive listing of community, corporate, and private foundations. Click on the foundation name and it will pull up a profile of the funder or the funder’s website.

6. This is the U.S. Department of Education site that allows you to apply, report, and administer Federal grants online.

7. The site has links to all Colorado foundations that have websites, foundation deadlines, sample proposals and guidance on developing proposals. www.coloradogrants.org

8. This site includes all federal grants. Click the Education tab for specifics.

9.  The Guide Star site requires a subscription in order to access complete information but if you use the quick search option, you can find contact information and funding priorities for a specific foundation.

10. The Piton Foundation website includes a link to Neighborhood Facts and  School Facts. These links are invaluable in providing statistical information about areas in Denver and specific schools. You will be required to register with an e-mail address and password, but the service is free. www.piton.org

11. GrantsAlert.com offers a searchable database of grant opportunities and a special link for national and regional classroom funding opportunities.  www.grantsalert.com

12. To find a listing of current and upcoming federal grants click on "grants and contracts" this is the U.S. Department of Education Website.
